Rear shock absorbers - 300mm

I would like a new pair of rear shocks and would be grateful for any recommendations. The current ones are 300mm between the centre of the mounting holes. Many thanks

Hello ,

I just have a look at your subject . In fact 300mm between centers are only for 350 .
On the 500 the rear fork is longer + or - 60mm compare to the 350 .
Than on the 500 the shocks the lenght is 320mm between centers .

Top is from a 350 and of course the botom is from a 500 .

Nice to see the frame next to the brake fluid reservoir has not been damaged by brake fluid weeping.

Judging by other posts on the forum & my own measurements, something nearer 312mm eye to eye is correct for the 500
