Front wheel fitting..........

Post by TimClarke »

Well, this is odd.

I fitted new discs and pads and fork springs and it was all a piece of cake and I felt that Morinis are really nice to work on then I came to refit the front wheel and it's driving me nuts.

The axle went through easily until it came to the fat bit and it's either not going through on the left or right fork or both depending how I jiggle things about.

I tried a gentle tap with my rubber mallet but no movement and I think i must be missing something so please, please any tips gratefully listened to!!

Will the axle go through without the wheel in? I have had similar on another bike, one fork leg was fractionally lower causing the spindle to catch.
