Lecci start?

Post by Bison »

Hello Folks,
I have a pal who is thinking of bidding on a 500, his question to me was "do all 500's have an electric start from the factory?", my answer was yes!, am I correct?
Thanks,
Alan.

Does it still have one?, a good question, I don't know.
The solenoid you can see in the picture, and it's connected on both terminals, with the bottom one going into the casing, so probably, wouldn't be too clever having a loose wire in there, although anything is possible.
It's the Iconic Auctioneers sale on 16th of February, A beautiful pale purple/lilac colour. there's a red 500 sport in the sale too.

Ha!, perhaps, people do get carried away at auction sometimes!. Mind you, bikes are very cheap just now, across the board from what I've seen, definitely a buyers market. Doesn't bother me, I have my bikes because I like them!, lets remember "sell" is a four letter word!!!, or at least that's what I tell my significant other!

Both bikes have been gone over by Benjy recently so reasonably safe to assume there is an electric start. He definitely wouldn't have left a loose live wire floating around inside the cases!

Yup, me too - all the proceeds are going to MS Society, so money well spent

yup, I bid online & won the red 500 Sport, I was only bidding to make sure it didn't go too cheap but very happy that all proceeds including sale fee go to MS Society, will be my 4th Morini 500 but 19yrs since I sold the last one.

Well done- looks like a good price and a worthy cause for the proceeds.
Didn’t fancy the Bimota then!
