Thank you very much for the replies. I am now away from home for four weeks with work so am not really able to respond properly until I am back and have access to the bike.
The settings were as I found them when I took the carbs apart to check settings and cleanliness. All looked clean and no water to be seen.
Will report back in a few weeks.
