Just wondering what happened to my old 1976 sport, which i used through out my youth back in the early eighties.

I was advised that it was bought by a museum, but have never found it.
It is still registered and the most recent MOT indicates that the mileage has changed little since it was sold 40 years ago.

I'm guessing the registration number is MCT231P, which was slightly hidden at the end of your post? I don't recognise the bike myself, but someone might know. I can't say I've ever seen a 3½ Sport with crash bars before. Good luck with finding it.
