125H 250T250c
125H 250T250c
Hi everybody.
For my sins in a past life I bought a 125h.
I used to have one many moons ago.
Any way I am in need of wheels for the bike.
It has cast wheels which are beyond repair.
I would love to find a pair if spoke wheels but would be more than happy to
acquire cast wheels.
The ones that came off are Grimeca 18"
Many thanks

Re: 125H 250T250c
What are the sizes on the current wheels? I've a brand new rear cast wheel for the 250 I believe which I brought back in hand luggage from the USA (it's not much bigger than a fancy laptop).

Hi Julian.
Many thanks for replying to my request.
Grimeca
Rear wheel size is WM2 1.85 x 18".
7 RAZZE -- DOT. Seven spokes I guess
2/78. Year of manufacture?
That is all the information cast into wheel rim.
Regards

Thanks for the details JR,
I'll see if I can dig out the wheel tomorrow and compare the details.

Re: 125H 250T250c
The wheels for the 350 are wider than those for the 250. The 350 rear wheel is a WM3 width (2.15 x 18 inches) while the 250 and 125 have the narrower 1.85 x 18 inches, from what I can tell that's a WM2 width.
I've managed to dig out my new rear wheel for the 250/125 (from what I can tell from the 'blue book' manual they have identical wheels and tyre sizes. Here's a photo of the wheel.
It was a NOS from a company in Florida and I bought it as I realised it would be useful at some point. From what I can tell it's the same one as your rear wheel.
As you might guess it's hard to price it. I'm guessing I paid about £100 including internal shipping in the USA however I can't track down the amount. Whereabouts are you so we can at least work out the logistics. If you wish there are also various sellers of used versions of the same rear wheel e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143879408215 ... 217fe18a57 who does offer to ship to the UK but would cost well over £130 with VAT and shipping, and https://www.ebay.it/itm/400817229631 which is much less expensive however you'd need to contact them to find out if they'd be willing to send the wheel to the UK (they also have the drum brake and rear sprocket assembly if you need them).
Of course you'd still need a front wheel. For whatever reasons I can't find any of those for sale (The italian words that might help are: cerchio anteriore morini This one is the closest I've found and at least looks similar to a Moto Morini front for a 350 (but is the narrower 1.85 inch width) https://www.ebay.it/itm/142927897558
By the way, what's so wrong with your wheels? You're welcome to call me for a chat 07971 078 133
