Thanks lads and it never occurred to me that these might be universal items. Apparently the correct term for them is scallop knobs but I would never have found that out without your help.

not sure you should google scallop knobs
never know where that could lead you
think i have a nos one somewhere or at the very least its vgc
will did it out at the weekend
