Anyone got a rear exhaust pipe and balance pipe lying around? Condition of chrome unimportant - as long as they aren't rotten I can use them.

got a left black one incl balance pipe... new

I need a left black one! I do have a spare but it turns out to have a different bend angle so does not mate up with the existing pipes.I can let anyone have this instead. Also has the mounting points for the heatshield in different positions so cannot use existing heatshield. Can you pm any details, if original poster doesn't mind.

Yes, not sure now if any 350 pipe will be ok for me either - the bend of my K2 rear pipe does look slightly different to earlier models, anyone know the details of these changes? Perhaps you could send me a photo, Andre; petercordrey@hotmail.com Thanks

John - could you send me a photo of your spare exaust pipe please ? petercordrey@hotmail.com, as it looks like between us we could get to the bottom of the non matching pipes question. My K2 rear pipe has holes for the heat shield in different places to earlier models, & I'm thinking thats what your spare may be from?

As you can see it has a shallower, to my eye, bend at the top than earlier 350's, afraid I dont have any means of measuring the angle, also the 2nd mounting point for the heat shield is farther down than on others I've seen. Hope this helps to compare what you have, Peter

mounting eyes for the heat shield are 10 cms / 4 inches apart
peterc is first in line but if we can have a swap/buy off including 3potjohn I'm happy too

Thanks for posting those, Andre. The different heatshield mounts, (mine are 8.5inches apart), could be easily solved, but having had a go in photoshop to match the shape of the top bends up I'm pretty sure they are different and I'd have problems. So I'm ok to give John the option of your exhaust & see if his spare is good for me- or at the last resort I'll try to get mine welded up.

And if this doesn't work the upshot is I think my black pipe matches Peter's.Putting a ruler across it the exhaust mounts are about 9 inches apart.so i can send it to Peter as long as i recover postage.
The exhaust pipe that Hendre has posted looks right for my bike,so I would like to proceed.How much are you looking at. I guess to UK as my brother in law is based in Belgium currently but moving near Brussels any day.
