Have you thought of a Gilera Saturno?
500cc DOHC single.Single seat, light and very flickable. Lovely styling - very Italian!
I can recommend highly - but you'll need to look hard to find one.
And when they do come up they're not mega expensive - be patient.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm aware of the modern Saturno, but it's not what I'm after. I'm really only interested in a light-weight ie 350cc or less and less than 150kg, I've got three bruisers in the garage already :) . My ideal would be a Morini Tressette sprint, Motobi 250, or Ducati 250, but as I say I'm open minded - a Gilera Giubileo might even fit the bill.

Hi David,

Schaublin still going well, even for turning heads on stainless screws for the Dart!

Hi Nick, I didn't know you had a Dart. Have you still got the Alazzura? Always regretted not buying it.

Glad the Schaublin's still working well - stainless screws eh, just shows how well made those little machines are.

Best regards

Yes, still got the Ally, and will never ever part with it now. Plenty of other quirky bikes to keep it company too, so drop by if you like... And tell Edward I've still got that NTV top-box he paid me for but never collected.

Apologies for the personal messages, People!
