Looking for the screw on piece for my carb that attaches to the air filter pipe.
The end that fits into the air filter pipe is 40mm.
Please take a look underneath your bench as I cannot find one on line.
Thanks, Frank.

Is this possibly it? Difficult to compare with the black colour - apologies if I'm mistaken - Duncan

Good spot Duncan and thanks for looking, I had seen this but hopefully can turn up an original one if possible.

Re: Vhb25b carb
The originals on the early carbs were made of something like mazak and are prone to crumbling. Quite risky as any bits get sucked into your engine.
I replaced mine with the plastic parts off a later Morini carb, which are a straight swap. I couldn’t recommend any reason to refit metal ones

Cheers Tom,
As you can see mine did the crumbling thing.
I was thinking last night after Duncan's suggestion that the plastic part might be the way to go especially as it won't be seen.

There are grey plastic ones on my 79 sport, It is news to me that earlier ones were made of anything different - hence my post.
