1966 Corsaro 150 compression

Post by Dave150morini »

Can anyone tell me the correct compression ratio for a 1966 Corsaro 150 and where I can get an oversized piston if needed?

Hello Dave.

The standard Corsaro 150 would be 9.8:1. The Gran Turismo (Touring) version would be 9.4:1.
Although I've never dealt with them, King of Piston seem quite promising...

Thanks Jenny, the bits you sent are great, best parcel wrapper ever! Compression is 60psi so a tad low….
Will check valve/tappets first but it may be worn bores. Might be settings as engine was supposedly fully rebuilt.
Fingers crossed

Kinbg of Piston is great. Happy to deal with the UK. Some useful accessories on his site too
