It looks like I'll be needing a few bits for the little V:
Brake pedal (left hand)
Gear lever (right hand)
Possibly a set of exhaust pipes, definitely a right hand silencer.
If anyone has anything mentioned above (or just available), please let me know.

I might have a spare gear lever but it will need attention to the pivot as it is very worn, as they often are. I just sorted the one on the project bike by drilling out to 17mm and fitting a bush. Certainly got a set of pipes I won't be using (350 engine going in with 2:1 eventually) in not at all bad condition but no silencers.

Could be interested in the pipes. As for brake and gear pedal, I think I need these two. (PO used Neanderthal methods to 'modify' them).

They certainly did so far as the gear lever is concerned. The 2C usually has a 'remote' change with a rod and rose joints. You will need a matching footrest as well as a lever if you want to go back to original. The good news is it looks as if NLM have got the 'trunnion' that goes on the shaft.

Curiouser and curiouser. Looks like this was a Fred Flintstone Special.
I have all the right parts - but not necessarily in the right order. Looks like the footrests and pedals have been 'converted' into rearsets by cutting and welding (plus the addition of a sidestand bracket which is truly horrible).
So, probably best to get it running as it is before I start putting it back correctly, then I will probably need new footrests, pedals (but not linkage), exhausts and centre stand.
Why do these simple jobs always turn into complicated ones? Answers on a postcard please.

I've never once got a response from Subito. You're supposed to be able to check am option box to get an email with a copy of your message and that doesn't happen either.

Re the ad in Subito - yes I've seen it and no, I didn't get any reply.
I am currently just cleaning up, replacing wheel bearings (all open and stuffed full of gritty grease), cleaning carbs, etc, before seeing how (if) it runs. Then I'll need a new chain and sprocket set at least.
Oh, and I have a perforated tank to fix.

I also had the problem with responces from Subito... when I discovered that special signs in my email adress mess up communications
Now I have an alias with only lowe case letters which I can use and now I also get the "send me a copy" mail and every once in a while I get responces (many Italians simply don't want to deal with foreigners). Just bought a custom saddle for my Duc GT last week, no problem at all
(you do have to try and communicate in Italian, Google translate works fine for me up till now)

The one in the Subito-ad was an ex-policebike
, too bad they get money when they turn in the frame to their 'motorizzazione' in Italy. This would have been a nice collector's item...
