350 fork stanchions wanted

Post by 72degrees »

Enquiring on behalf of the Morini rider who had an unfortunate experience on the Isle of Man. The forks are too badly bent to be straightened. Anyone got a pair - even that might need re-chroming?

Hi. I can help with some old ones that will need re chroming. They are Marzocchi from around 1977 -78. They will need the coarse thread top caps. Any use? Just cost of posting will be needed unless you would like me to drop them off at Philpotts on my way home one day and leave you to settle up with them.
Where in the country are you?
George.

Thanks George. The bike is a 77 Strada so those might fit the bill very well. I'll get back to you.

Check the re-chroming cost against buying new. Disco Volante in Wales stock Paoli-Tarozzi stanachions.

Do they actually stock them? They certainly would be good value at the advertised price.

They can certainly get them reasonably quickly.
