Pictures herewith . Its 1972 but UK registered as 1968 over 30 years ago when dating was not done very professionally. Log book has been lost but new one applied for and it is on DVLA register.

Engine was turning 6 months ago since when its been under a tarp. and is blocked. Quite probably the oil pump, but that is often a simple fix (the process is described in my 175 Hints and tips which is now at V27-e mail me for a copy).

Clearly a restoration project these are very rare models.

These had a 5 speed gearbox and a claimed 14.6HP at 9,600 and are really the most special of these models.
Missing side panels on frame and alloy points cover + speedo.
Fuel tank is excellent inside
Lanfranconi competition exhaust
Chrome headlamp is original
Super Marzocchi forks of the later models
Has an ignition key !!
It has a side stand as these models did..handy off road.

£1,000 collected from CV23 9NB or could deliver within 75 miles for a modest fee.

This bike is a very worthy project and will be a wonderful thing once it is sorted out. Eligible for all sorts of events, you could have a lot of fun.

Corsaro Country 125s don't come up for sale very often, but if you decide to take on this project I have some good news for you. I have a pair of side panels in sound condition and a points cover and the correct alternator cover with the hole for a tachometer drive. I am looking for £100 for all four items. I live just ten miles from Arthur so could drop them off where the bike is.

My apologies to Arthur for slightly hi-jacking this thread but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Jenny.

Wow !

It seems the engine was filled with oil probably 30 years ago which is why it seemed seized...once the plug was out it spurted out and the engine turns freely and all gears select. I guess in days past somebody filled it with oil to protect it on the compression stroke

I discovered this an hour before it was SOLD when the new owner was on his way to me

All are delighted !!

Sorry you missed out !!
