There's a very nice 350 on ebay at the moment, by the look of it. Over the border in Cornwall.

350 for sale
Re: 350 for sale
It's first registered 1977 so either did not sell for a couple of years or had the double drum fitted later. What does the panel think?

Reading between the lines it's been modified. The front fork has a caliper bracket. Looks nice. I'll chance it at £500!!!

And the tacho not right. But who cares when it looks this good.
Re: 350 for sale
I've just had a chat with the owner: very nice genuine person. He doesn't know much about Morinis but he's been a mechanic for 50 years, and he loves the bike. It was actually imported from Italy in 1997 so doesn't have an engine number and he doesn't know the original date of manufacture. Frame number according to the log book is A/3 1775x so it's an Italian original, but with a number in the 17,000s that doesn't seem to fit with the early frame (ignition switch back by side panel. He's gone out to check the frame number and see if it's got an S on the front cylinder. Clocks are off a 500 and the dash lights are more recent than on my 76 Sport. As Mr Moto says: if it looks that good, who cares! He's keen that the bike goes to someone in the club if possible, so start shaking your piggy banks.
"I'll have a V please, Bob."
