350 Sport for Sale

Post by Steve Brown »

I've decided to offer my 350 Sport for sale as I'm just not riding it enough now and I have 4 other Morini to attend to. My bike is a 1976 model bought new by me in 1977. It's an 'S' registration and historic status etc. It has stellar mileage but has been rebuilt with Nicasil cylinders and a reground crank within the last 3,000 miles. It has a good strong ignition and charging system with recent new transducers and source coil plus a re-magnetised flywheel. It is not 'mint' or 'showroom' condition but is quite presentable and goes very well thank you. It has a recent 520 'O' ring chain and sprockets, new tyres and tubes in the last few months. It also has a good history including being the only known 350 Morini to win a club racing championship (whilst still a genuine 344cc!) anywhere. So you can legitimately claim it is a world champion!
This bike has been raced, rallied, thrashed, crashed, green laned and used in winter.
As far as I can recall it has never been ridden, let alone owned, by a vicar or a lady.
I'm asking for £4600 ono to members before I go to the wider online world.
For any more details and pictures please send me your email address via a PM or phone/text/whatsapp me on 07708828886.
We are near Lutterworth in Leicestershire, UK. Delivery at cost can be arranged, or have a word with yourself and ride it home. The bike is perfectly capable of taking you to Lands End or John O'Groats.

Agh.... Steve - what problems you cause!

So, do I sell the Corsaro and buy this?

I'm guessing a wire wheel, disc brake - the best one?

Hi Chris and please accept my apologies for any trauma caused! Yes, you're right it's a wire wheel and disc front model. Keep the Corsaro and have a 3narf anyway-that's the easiest solution and will lead to longer term happiness for sure!

I'm taking this bike to Mallory park for tomorrows autojumble. If you want to see it and fancy chancing your arm with a bid for it, please mention you are a club member and saw it advertised here. You'll see I'm asking more for it tomorrow, but you as an insider will get a better deal!

Sport still for sale-I have just submitted an advert to Car and Classic website which should go live soon. I don't fancy any of the swaps I've been offered so far, especially the liquorice allsorts, but if you happen to have a nice Settebello or even better a Corsaro Regolarita to trade then I might be listening!

My 350 Sport is still for sale-the bike trade seems very quiet now and even my Suzuki is not attracting much interest. So this is an unashamed bid to get the message out there again. I am open to offers of course, and still open to bribes including Corsaro Regolarita 125 or 150!
I rode the Sport to Stafford and hung a for sale note on it. Lots of pics were taken but that was all.
Get in touch by any means you like, apart from phone calls in the middle of the night!

This is still the best 350 Sport for sale, especially if you want one that works properly, has no hidden issues, is ready to ride, has room for cosmetic improvement but still perfectly presentable etc etc.
I'm even open to offers, the worst I will do is turn them down politely, and yes I'm fully aware of the slump in bike values and willing to adjust my expectations to meet yours. I've done all the Sporty type riding I'm ever going to (safely) do and now it's your turn to live the 3narf Sport dream.
It's ready for you to ride home, I can MoT it if you wish (historic regd) and you can bring your trusted person to inspect the bike and ask any questions of its history. How safe do you need the deal to be? Do you want it delivered after your inspection?
Get yourself the real deal classic 350 Sport for less than a lot of sellers ask for a Strada in a frock!
EDIT=PRICE REDUCED=SEE LATEST ATG AND MAKE AN OFFER! This bike needs riding!

As soon as you've added enough noughts to the offered funds. See, told you I could adjust expectations. 😀
