Looked on the DVLA website, and it appears to be taxed still!!!!!!!
I went through a similar phase recently with my old sport too. And it turned up as well. That number sounds familiar though........or maybe it's just memorable? Good luck!

Not sure if DVLA will forward a message for you, sure they won't tell you though.
You'd think someone here might know though, wouldn't you? Not everyone bothers with 't interweb, so an add in A Tutto Gas may be an idea. Mine was quite easy to track down, as the owner had been a longstanding member too, and I knew his name, and a bit about what/where he worked.
Keep asking, it's bound to get back to the current owner sometime.

I'd also like to find out the whereabouts of my old bike! It doesn't appear to known at the DVLA, when I did the same check.

It was a 350 sport reg no. TTM 230R. If any one knows whereabouts I'd be grateful.
