I have a 78” 3 1/2 with an alternator with 2 yellow, 1 white, and 1 green. Can I get help with connecting.
The book says there should be a red to the battery.
The white bled the fuse! I have good ac current from the wires. How to connect to the regulator?

Re: More charging questions
The white is and auxiliary earth/ground/masse connection. It shouls normally go to the Bianco terminal on the ignition CDI/Transducers units, via the fuse board. The two yellows are the AC output from the alternator, and the red was discontinued on later types. So long as you have a compatible rectifier/regulator it will be fine.
Oh and the green is the AC supply for the ignition transducers, again via the fuse board normally but after this time it may have been rewired differently!
