monday morning i snaped my front brake lever on my 3-1/2 sport pushing the bike backwards and hit a fence what an idiot !!.tuesday i went to a motorbike shop near by with the snaped lever in hand and found a brake lever off a yamaha fitted with only small modification needed for only £4 (what a bargain)

Well done. When I got mine I thought there was too much wobble in the lever so I tried to crimp the ends of the mounting pivot up and snapped the alloy immediately. When will I learn.
Which Yamaha?

I did the same thing years ago but now I can't remember what Yamaha model fits I seem to remember that it was one of the RD350's or something similar? It would be good to know as these days there are very few bike shops you can just rumage through levers until you find the right fit. Cheers

Pistonslap is virtually there - The brake levers for Yamaha RD250/350LC's go straight in. Just make sure that you get the adjuster that goes between the lever and master cylinder piston as it has a different thread pitch.

Ah good I thought it was something like the 350LC . Thats right the thread was different but I managed to retap it to M6 (or what ever it's meant to be) to receive the original morini adjuster.
