Just in the process of putting the box of bits I bought together, put new cam belt on engine turns fine replaced flywheel engine does not turn !
According to Diagram on crankshaft after replacing cambelt there should be large washer, spring, circlip, spring, flywheel, spring washer then nut. Is that correct ?
Thanks for any help

I have been know to fit the guide washer backwards once so it fretted the edge of the belt.
Can the flywheel be binding against the coils? If so better double check before anything gets damaged or hot. You could fit the flywheel without the coils perhaps to see what happens and /or ink the inside surface with a marker pen then you will easily see any binding points.
Best of luck.
