Can't argue with a record - especially with that big a leap from last year. Well done.

That is really good news and a fascinating account of the event, which made a for a good read at 4am when I was awake having been called by my son in Spain to say there was a terrific storm.
We have good weather in England so will have to get my 350 out for a modest spin. John

Excellent news - and a big 'up' to Amy for her write-up. Super photos, too. The salt flats look to be a totally alien environment.

I'll pass on your kind remarks to Miss Amy...

By the way,,, She will hopefully be ridding the bike next season as I gladly turn over the reins to her capable hands...

The salf flats are just terrible when soggy,,,,imagine trying to road race in mud and you'll have some idea..

If you look in the picture with standing water, you can see just how "cobble stone" the surface really is...

The ride is rough.... however, when dry, the salt can be graded to smooth and firm...

I have yet to experience good salt conditions

Maybe I'll live long enough to see that
