K1 Throttle.
K1 Throttle.
The throttle stop is missing on my 350 Sport K1 and when you let the throttle close it goes too far and the nipples of the throttle cables jump out. Does anyone have the part number for the right hand handlebar switch and throttle tube. Many thanks.
Re: K1 Throttle.
Are you referring to the plasic block that holds the cables into the twistgrip?

The one shown on this link; https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/t ... tle.46541/
If that's present, then adjust the slack in the cables.

Re: K1 Throttle.
Hi Paul,
yes I have the plastic block.
Not much adjustment in the carb screws so I think the cables may need to be shortened by 5 mm each.

Re: K1 Throttle.
The blocks were made with two different depths of holes for the cables and it's not uncommon for the block to have been drilled deeper to suit supplied cables. Add to that the ability of Venhill to supply cables of quite random lengths and you can have cables that are too slack.
Rather than me and other people guessing, can you take the twistgrip apart and take some pictures.

Re: K1 Throttle.
Had similar on my 500, not enough length on carb top adjusters to take up slack in cables so they pop out of the throttle guide. Ideally as Paul says get cables the correct length, get longer carb adjusters?or have some made. Or as a get over put a small o ring or two over the cable nipple that effectively lengthens the outer cable, I did think 600 miles ago the carbs are bound to go out of sync, but no, still good balance.
