Engine differences

Hello all of you,
Please could i pick your brains?
I have a 75 350 Strada which goes ok but doesn't always engage 2nd nicely. I have the offer of a 12v Kanguro 350 engine with what looks like the Nikasil lined barrels. BUT the generator and windings are badly damaged, so will the 75 350 engine generator and flywheel fit on the crankshaft???? Can i also swap the ignition pick and thus retain the electronic rev counter??
