Oil capacity

Hi just changing the oil in my 350 Excalibur , it is a import that hasn't run for years and unfortunately I have no books or history with her but after looking on here i put 2.5 liter in but doesn't even show on dip stick ! It is a curved dip stick don't know if it is the correct one bit nervous about pouring oil in until it shows incase i do more harm than good , anyone know how much I should put in thanks

2.5 should show on the dipstick. Looked underneath for a puddle? 2.5 is the recommended amount, I believe.

The dipstick is bent to clear the exhaust. Knobbly bit of handle faces out AND push home before reading, do not rest on top.
