Marzocchi springs

Folks,
If I keep my Marzocchi AG Strada shocks then I'll have to get springs with lighter rates, anyone have any ideas where to get them?. Does the number on the piggy back refer to the spring rate? (1 2 3 or 4)
Thanks,
Alan.

I have some spare springs somewhere but they'll be too heavy as they are for Tonti Guzzi's. From memory, they are colour coded according to spring rates - small paint marks on the springs gave the rate...if you know the code. I have a manual somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it out.

I got mine via the local agent back in the 80's, not sure where you'd get them now.

Hi,
Yep, I think mine are for a Guzzi or a Laverda, way too hard for a Morini.
Thanks
Alan.

Folks,
Just received two springs from Hitchcock motorcycles, Enfield ones, same size as the Marzocchi, made in England, 85Lbs per inch, £28 in black.
Just pressing them together between my hands I can feel a difference. They are advertised as progressive, and lighter than the Enfield stock springs, the Enfield weighs around 185KG, I don't weigh much, so thought it was worth a punt. Will report when I ride the bike.
Alan.
