Looks like a very positive weekend for 350 Morinis with Penman getting his Carbs to work, and the Supercharge Baron dethroning the Aermacchi brand bike as the "World's Fastest Gasoline powered pushrod 350cc Motorcycle "!

The Baron crushed the 10 year old 122.089mph record with a flawless 123.59 mph run that didn't have any tailwind help.

The lakebed was hard and smooth like pavement and the temperature was in the 70's with little to no wind to contend with....

The only disappointment was that my crew chief Amy Dunford was home with a injured knee and wasn't there to see the run...

Excellent News! I'm sure that you now feel that all the effort has been worthwhile.

Thanks to all for your kind encouragement....

I'm working with an engineering student to test a high speed tail fairing for the 2017 season, and it should produce several more mph when completed.

I'm considering going to Bonneville next August and making the record "official"....

I'd love to do an article for your club magazine about the "Baron" project MarkB.....

For a magazine article just send me words and pictures and I will do the rest. Its nice to have 50/50 words and photos so a biggish article of 5 spreads will need about 1500 words as it is about 300 words per page. send the words in a word document and the pictures as separate files, jpegs are fine.
