Greetings to all.
I'm new to the forum and the new owner of a 1975 Moto Morini 3 1/2 Strada. My bike is an early 11/74 build, USA model. I'm going to have a number of questions as I refurbish this motorcycle.
My first question is about the turn signals. Mine have a set screw on the back side and clamp on to a chrome stem that has threads on the headlight end only. The outer end of the stem is un threaded.
These are original CEV signals that are original to the bike. All the replacements I see on line have threads to attach onto the stem. I can't find any like mine that clamp on with a pointed set screw.
Are there replacements like mine available ? Does any forum member have nice used turn signals for sale.
I'm very happy to have found this forum. Moto Morini bikes are somewhat rare here in the USA.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Early turn signals
Welcome to the forum Rick,
I also have these indicators ( as we call them ) on my 75 Strada and in my opinion they are not very good. They tend to crack where the stem is clamped. I can't ever remember having seen any replacements for sale.

Re: Early turn signals
Thanks for the info. I want to keep my bike as original as possible. My indicators work and aren't cracked. It's just that the chrome is peeling a bit.
