Not really 350 related as far as I know, so I hope you don't mind me asking here. For the fork/spindle clamps on my Camel project I need to find some M6 Square nyloc nuts. Anyone know where they can be had?

Hi Steve,
Could be worth contacting Dave Middleton? http://stainlessmiddleton.co.uk/
While not listed, they do make one offs although at a price. Used to be the only source of new M7 nyloc nuts once upon a time.
Alternative could be buy some stainless bar, drill & tap M6, then use Loctite, or centre pop the bolt thread after fitting? Stainless steel bar is cheap - 1/2" is only £1 per foot.
You might get lucky by looking for the nuts that go with coach bolts at say B&Q? Traditionally these were always a square nut, but never seen them as a self locking ones.
Is there room for a lock nut under the 'square nut'?
Hope that this helps,
George.

Thanks George, no room for a lock nut and access impossible for a spanner with hex nuts either. Well ok, you could do it but I'm going to avoid that. I think the best short term fix is to use plain square nuts and drill the cap screws for wire locking.George 350 wrote:Hi Steve,

Yeah...someone else sent me that link last night. Would you be interested in sharing the order? I'll take the 4 I need and you'd surely find a project for the 29,996 others, eh?EVguru wrote:No problem at all if you order 30,000
