I mean my Sport and I, of course

Despite all the usual newbie/dumb*rse questions, it's been great having the dependable support of all the clubs, this forum, members of the micapeak email list, Stuart and Co., Tony K, and not forgetting our ever-patient club Technical Guru, Paul.

The clock read almost 12,000k when I bought her and since then I've done my best to keep on top of maintenance (thanks, John). She's been extremely reliable, the biggest upset being when a worn needle-jet allowed fuel to enter the crankcase, causing all kinds of upheaval.

Are there any areas I should be keeping an eye on as we head towards the big 5-0? (I'm going to clean clutch at the next opportunity.)

Cheers and tanti auguri!

Many happy returns to you both. I've had mine since 2007 and it's gone from 48 to 70k somehow, with a refresh earlier this year. So you have a long time to enjoy the bike yet.Brilliant!
