Alternative Handlebars

I use the standard bars on my Strada but with risers to move them up and back a little to give a, for me, more comfortable riding position. However, I could do with a little more and the risers do not really complement the looks anyway so can anyone with personal experience recommend raised bars from a different machine which would fit the bill? And the machine. Thanks.

Upturned reversed ace bars might do the trick and do away with the risers altogether.

Check out Renthals, they do a good selection.

My local bike shop used to have a large selection of different bends in stock, I’ve not looked in that corner for ages but surely that’s the first place to look?

When I rebuilt my 74 Strada it had ape hangers on it. Nothing wrong with that , very comfy in fact.
I wanted something closer to spec but couldn't find original Strada bars anywhere at the time. I did find some second hand 80's Triumph Bonneville bars on ebay which had more or less the same profile and they were cheap. I think they were a little wider but by not much.
Well , they suited the bike perfectly to my mind , adjustable for rise and with plenty of leverage and importantly they looked as if they belonged on the bike.

I have a pair of BMW bars (from 1970s) on my 250. They are similar in shape to the Strada, slightly lower and slightly narrower.

Only if you're fussy about being Imperial. 22mm is the same size as 7/8" in old money.
