No horn on low revs

The horn on a Sport is a thing of beauty in all ways. Mostly. Mine only wants to sound when I'm over about 3,000 rpm. Any comments accepted.

You have a few options to try.
1. Clean up all the electrical connections to the horn and ensure the earth return has good conductivity.
2. Put a relay in using the horn wire as the control and a nice big fat fused feed directly from the battery.
3. There is usually a screw adjuster on the back of the horn to adjust tone. Give the horn a consistent power feed then adjust this to the best noise. It may be happioer there.
Merry Christmas.
Rod, just to your northwest.

Yep, that's me. I've got a 500SeiV here so I drop into this site every few months. I'm cutting back on my forum time.

It was option 3½ on Morizzi's post.
You can adjust the glorious Fiamm tipo CTP by taking it off the bike then removing the rear cover. You'll see a small cross-head screw underneath.
With the ignition on and the neighbours out, turn the screw a quarter-turn and see if it will honk now. If not, turn the screw in very small increments until it does, as it's possible to quieten the horn substantially by going too far. (I can't remember if I went clockwise or anti - try both.)
Cheers,
