Hello All,
Well, I was hoping for more speed this past weekend , but at least it is faster than the time before.
With the Cylinder heads temps now under control, I'm going back to the other supercharger pulley for the last meet of the year in November.
It is the one that was on the blower when it ran 108 mph without the fairing....
As I'm warming up the engine on the starting line, the two guys are fellow club members checking out all my gauges as my crew chief Amy looks on.

Getting there.... I was expecting 120s....
What is the altitude of El Mirage?

What is the altitude of El Mirage?

Yeah, I was hoping for high teens at least, but that didn't work out ….
The Density altitude was 4634 feet above sea level when I ran at 11:16 am with a 4 mph crosswind…..
From pictures I've seen of me on the course, the fairing is set too high in the front and is catching a little extra air...
I'll tweak the fairing, pump up the tires to 40 psi, trim 3" off the megaphones, and put back the 15 psi boost pulley on the blower….
We'll see what that does in two weeks…
