Petrol tank differences.

Post by Mark »

Hi all.
Hoping more info may help my search for a tank.
It's for a 350K Sport from about 1983. The one with the square headlight and 3 discs.
The tank is the later style with the central ridge on top with the front fitting via location onto two lugs rather than the earlier bolt through front fixing.
Do any of you know if other models of the period, ie, 250 or 500 had the same tank, albeit with different logos, and can I safely assume that the 350 Strada tank of the same period is identical?

Any info appreciated as it'll increase my chances if I know other items out there are actually the same thing.

Thanks
Mark.

Hi.
Is there really no-one out there who knows the answer to this one - even those of you with several types and styles of 350?

Sorry Mark, I can tell you about '76 or '77 bikes, but not later ones. I'm sure someone will know....

K sport and Stradas have the same tanks, 500s are longer so probably won't fit properly, but can be made to.
