NLM Fairing

Post by trianglevee »

Does anyone have any experience of NLM's handlebar fairing and screen? I know that a Sport looks better without one, but I am beginning to feel my age in the winter. I think it might have to be a screen or a move to a warmer country.

I was also looking at fairings.I have a 350K which has a round headlight, however I also have the rectangular one and the fairing in the garage.
The almost spherical bulb in this rectangular CEV unit is not H4 but has a collar on which retains it into the reflector with a circular clip. I think it was only 45-40 W.Doesn't look easy to get a H4 bulb to fit without some stress.
So..... I bet it isn't as bright as my round light in which I have a Philips Vision Plus H4 bulb.
If I do have a crack at refitting the fairing, I can see 2 mounting points which line up with the 2 holes in the lower fork yoke but how is the upper mounting configured. I don't have any mounting brackets, though I have a not dissimilar fairing on a 77 BMW so can see how it might be done.
Anyone with one who could email me a picture or describe it to me?

A Guzzi Mk1 Lemon fairing looks OK on a 3 1/2...
