Strada on e bay

Post by buell1203 »

Nice 75 series 1 strada on e bay but badly described. I advised the seller of his mistake re the brake and probably rims but he told me I was wasting his time! Nice guy, obviously does not worry too much re accuracy in the description.

One at the front, one at the back. Yep, double drum!

It's a 73 model from the external style mudguard stays, but that doesn't mean it wasn't registered in 75.

Yes Paul. He refuses to accept he is wrong in his description. I merely advised that it was not double drum but tls. Also that the rims on the strada were originally San remo not akront.the model listed seem to be fitted with original chrome wheels. Both my stradas were as I have described.

He wants enough money for it hence he owes the unsuspecting public an accurate description, but questions what else I do to waste people's time.

No doubt he will eventually fall foul of a prospective buyer or e bay themselves.

Caveat emptor!

The seller apologised for his attitude.probably thought he might lose a sale!

He is a dealer, claims to have 61 bikes but is not prepared to amend his advert as he is convinced the strada was built that way initially!

It's nice but expensive for a strada.

Yes I agree but apart from nlm,who in real life achieves such a price for the strada? I have one myself and personally would not want a sport simply because of the riding position hence am certainly not decrying the less popular model.

My dissent is the incorrect description of the bike, and total refusal to accept this. In truth I would love the bike myself but will not pay that sort of money as frankly I feel there are better bikes than the morini for the price.

I also have insufficient room due to too many other toys.
