In this months Classic Bike ,Hugo Wilson writes about fitting new "progressive" springs to his Sport.Money well spent he says[£62.69].

I had new progressive springs and thicker oil at the front and new longer shocks at the back the whole package is very good.

I also use progressive springs on my 500 and they improve both the comfort and the behaviour when braking hard.
