Folks,
Can someone tell me what the clutch mod is which helps reduce the grabbyness of the clutch please?. I 've read there's a nylon piece involved somewhere
but that's all I've managed to learn.

Your best bet is to do a forum search. There is a good thread "Clutch Assembly".

Thanks 72, found it. EVguru to the rescue again!. I'll pop out now and strip and re assemble it the way Paul said.
