Hi Bob,

Simple answer is 'Yes'. Lots of Club members use them in the sizes you suggest, but most I've seen go for the H rated ones and save a fiver on the cost. Can your bike exceed 130mph to need V rated tyres?
The general choice for classic Morini's seems to be between the Avon's and Bridgestone BT45's. For what it;s worth I'm in the Bridgestone camp for both of mine, but I was giving serious thought about the Avons for the Strada until a 'mate in the trade' got me an unbeatable deal on a pair of BT45's.

Thanks George,

The bike currently has tyre with imperial sizes (the rear is a pirelli Gordon, I think I've read somewhere that this was original fitment) so it's good to get conformation of size as well as brand. I've used BT45's on other bikes and have been pleased with them, I'll see which I can get at the best price.

Those are the tyre sizes I recommend (100/90 is also fine on the rear esp. for a Strada).

Many listings are wrong on the rear tyre. It would have been a 4.10, not a 400 as quite a few tyre manufacturers list.

A 4.10 is a narrower lower profile tyre than a 400. It's not uncommon to find bikes unstable on the centre stand due to the wrong rear tyre.

I've always used the Avons, first Roadrunners and now Roadriders. They're excellent, even on a very wet Cadwell track.

Hi Bob, the rear size you mention is not listed in my local dealer's Avon spec sheet as a rear, but as a 'universal'. Did you find the same?
Cheers,
Dom

Yes, it's a universal I've got fitted. It's early days but first impressions are good.
