HI everyone, i wondered if anyone out there could measure the size of a standard 350 tool box (the thing behind the battery, i assume it the tool box!) not sure if they ever changed but my bikes a 1975 (would measure my own but its in Spain at moment, and i'm in the UK).
I'm trying to put together a small tool kit to go under the seat for emergencies, does anyone have any ideas suggestions of what to include, also sorry for all the question, what size C spanner the exhaust nuts are?
Many thanks, Tony

Hi Tony,
I've been and measured up one of my toolboxes for you, but you should note that my bikes are 1978 vintage non electric start models - I've no idea if the later ones were different or not.
The base of the box measures 150mm across the bike(front edge - rear edge is 170mm) x 50mm along, while the top of the box is 155mm across (190mm rear edge) x 110mm along.
The front edge is pretty much vertical, the rear angled (and dished to clear the mudguard). All dimensions quoted are close, but not guaranteed to be exact.
I've added a few pictures of one (don't worry I didn't remove it specially -it was already off the bike) to my photobucket page here:

Hope this helps you,
George.
