The fitting instructions suggest that leads from the pick up should be red and black and that the red lead should go to the front cylinder coil and the black to the rear cylinder coil. All very straight forward. However, my pick up ( red version ) has two red leads, and one is tagged with a (1).
Here's my problem when I removed the original transducers, ( and no idiot that I am I didn't make a note of it!
) I'm pretty sure that the tagged (1) lead fed the rear cylinder transducer. So is the rear cylinder cylinder 1 and the tagged wire should go to this? Or is the front cylinder cylinder 1? which somehow seems more logical.Hope this makes sense!
