I need a battery that fits. I have found nothing as of yet. Need a reference for manufacturer and size so I can match one up here in the states.
UPDATE:
I have cleaned the carbs, YUCK! Dried funk coating everything, Checked the Airfilters, and changed the oil. Set the pressure in the Original tires to test for leaks. Cleaned the Gas Tank. Added Fluid and blead the front brakes (dual disk).
I NEED a battery, a timing belt and possibly new tires.
Battery? and update on project

FRONT TOWARD ENEMY
Battery, Why Yes
Yes. I am posting to my own post...
Found a battery, its a Odyssey PC680 Sealed Unit.
Google it and you will find multiple suppliers out there.
Also, I have found 7 shops here in Tulsa that can get the Timing belt. Cool.
Still on the hunt for tires.

FRONT TOWARD ENEMY
I don't know if these are available in the States but I use Avon Roadrunners; a big improvement over the Pirellis I had previously. A word of advice - don't try going oversize. Modern tyres are manufactured for far higher power outputs than Morinis and fat tyres mean you need to lean more round bends
Avon AM20/21, Bridgestone BT45's, not much to chose between them.
I find the Avons start sliding a little earlier and hold on a little longer, but it's very close.
Mainly I use them becuase they're in stock locally, slightly cheaper and I prefer the look.
Front; 90/90
Rear; 100 or 110/90
100/90 Front on 350 makes it fall into slow corners, seems OK on a 500, but there's no advantage to it, go with 90/90.

Re: Sweet
Fortunately, Morini owners tend to be a sensible bunch (in some respects) and don't really go in for that rubbish!claymore wrote:
Will it decline the value of the bike if I take the Original Tires off???
It'll be worth more with good tyres. To anyone who wants to ride it, anyway.

Re: Sweet
It could be worth considerably less when you learn that 30 year old rubber doesn't have a whole lot of grip! I second the Avon/Bridgestone suggestion, they're both good choices and a narrow front tire really sharpens the handling.claymore wrote:Thanks for the tire info...I'll be sourcing those next.
