Steering locks

Post by atreyu »

It's been covered before but I cant see a definite answer, what aftermarket steering lock will fit our Morinis?

I've read a classic BMW one will but there seems to be more than one type?

I missed one on ebay today but it didn’t have the flats on the plunger, so i guess i would have to have modified the yoke stem, this isn’t an issue as long as I can find one that fits...

Someone's been selling them recently on ebay.de or ebay.nl - might be worth investigating.

Did the BMW steering lock work? If so, which one did you use? I live not far from "Moto Bins" so can call in if I know which part/model to order. Thanks.

I bought the one off ebay advertised for a Morini, The locks the right one but the little cover plate wasnt so I've pinched the cover off the old frame.
