clutch cable adjustment

Post by Tufftrax »

Can anyone let me know how much free play to leave in the clutch handlebar lever end of my 350K sport?

As a new Morini owner I have been getting used to elusive neutral and thought that adjusting the cable slack may help but I can't find any reference material for this adjustment (I am assuming about 2-3mm).

Thanks in advance.

Managed to answer my own question! - around 5mm

Just downloaded owner's service manual with lots of useful details for owners.

Hi Keith,
on my K, neutral is actually a subtle double-click up from 1st. I have no idea why, but knowing that makes it easier to select. Also, if you have rearsets, finding neutral is a lot easier if the linkages are well set up. Finding it when rolling to a stop is also easier than when standing still.
Cheers,
