Fuel Taps

Hi,

Just wondering I have had mine off the road now for a couple of months doing work on her but just tried kick starting but noticed the fuel pump on the front tap isn't working now, I also noticed that the rear fuel tap isn't allowing fuel to flow, does this mean the taps are clogged??

Can the bike run well on two manual fuel taps or has the front got to be electrical? If so where can I obtain one?

Brett, most of use replace the electrical one (it is not a pump, just electric opening) with a manual one as the fuel flow gets restricted over the years. And if the manual also gives nothing at the moment I would just replace them both with new manual taps and clean out your gas tank while you are at it. I think MZ ETZ taps fit (correct me if I'm wrong)

I actually worked out the problem, it wasn't the fuel taps it was a wiring issue and I rectified it and the bike started no problems

I have the Lucas AB11 electrical system on mine and I am going to change it to the NLM Transducer system so that the Tacho will work. I tried to wire the Tacho in with the Lucas but that was the issue...nothing worked so I disconnected it.
