lots of hard to find and valuable parts on that parts bike.
the disk brake front wire wheel is actually a pretty rare option on a morini
i have seen them on 350 sports , with borrani rims ,
i cant remember seeing one on a strada

I have a blue 75 Strada frame number A/2*07481*.

77 Stradas had a single disc front/wire wheel.

3 1/2 Strada came too with disk brake and wire wheels.
Only with this livery also in silver with black stripes.
The strange thing of the bent frame bike is that has a Sport tipe front mudguard.
Check if there is an "S" on the right side of the engine under the front cylinder.
This is a perfectly kept bike with original paint.

It is an exciting and stimulating challenge to build a motorcycle with many parts available.
You can take different paths with different goals.
Be faithful to the original or make the bike you prefer.
And the hardest thing. which is the original bike?

My (US) '77 Strada has cast wheels and single disk front brake.

I would love a close-up of the stickers on the blue tank, please.
Sure. I’ll be back home in a couple days and take some pics.
I have a bunch of high res pics. Give me your email and I’ll send them to you.

Duh, I was not very clear - what I meant was the Castrol/Made in Italy (?) stickers on the top of the tank! Thanks again.

The red bike is beautiful.
I plan to build the bike in the first post as a stock (ish) early Strada. I don’t know if aluminum rims were stock but I like them. The bent/damaged frame front disk bike will get used as a test bed to assemble an electric motor Morini. It’s already damaged, I doubt it makes sense to have it fixed, so I might as well play with it a bit and see what I can create. We are .9 miles from town so just a 5-10 mile range and 40 mph would be enough for a grocery getter. I wonder if I can call it an electric scooter and not have to register the bike?
None of this will happen quickly. I have two Sports and 3 cars to finish.

The red bike belongs to a friend, not mine unfortunately.
Aluminum rims never belonged to Stradas, but are really beautufull.
I don't know frame numbers, maybe you could swap the plates with the frame numbers to get a bike that conforms to the number.
and so you could use the disc brake which offers more safety and is beautifull and rare.

Oh, I don't care about what's proper to the year or model, just what I like. I come from a bicycle background and all but the most basic bikes get aluminum rims. I'll keep all the hubs and decide what gets fitted when the bike gets built. I might have changed my mind a couple times by then.
