Rescue me!
Rescue me!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTO-MORINI-3 ... 1e68663aa7 - they think it's a 2 stroke! Someone take pity, looks complete and worth saving.
Re: Rescue me!
It certainly does look complete and very worth rescuing,.... there's also a very noce looking Ducati Mk III on eBay, but at over four times the ££outlay?....you takes your choice I guess!..If only the Morini was a bit closer to home!
Re: Rescue me!
Well it's sold! Anyone here get it, how much?
Hopefully another back on the road, I was thinking there must be more Morinis out now than for many years as they become worth doing up. I know most of feel they were always worth keeping on the road anyway. Talking to Stuart at NLM, he reckon he's busier that ever.

Re: Rescue me!
Now Rescued!
I have just finally got into Morinis even though the local Morini shop is very close to where I live. A very "great" local Bike Mechanic has got it back on the road for me ( my eldest son)
and its back to the right colour, red. It was complete and ready for the road on Xmas eve which was a great suprise having ridden it home from another great local Guy who has done the paint work etc yesterday. He has put the colours back to what it was when it was built, red with grey/silver wheels What a great Xmas present and something to remember for some years to come... It was last on the road in 2006, but I intend on keeping it there for some years to come.
As soon as I can figure out how to reduce the size of the Pics I have taken, I will upload some for you to see( unless someone who is more techy than me is happy to have them sent by email and upload them for me?)
I have had a wide grin since I fetched it and its in the garage to polish, admire and ride out with other morini riders I also know

Re: Rescue me!
Hi "Italiano", and welcome to the Morinisti...
Good to hear that the Strada has been rescued and is back on the road. Let us know where you are, it's always good to meet new owners, even though it sounds like there is a group of you around about already. "Local Morini shop" ~ does that put you near North Leicester or Bristol, are there other trusted air-cooled "dealers" or are you outside the UK?
Where-ever you are, it'll be great to see some pictures in due course, and enjoy the ride!

Re: Rescue me!
Hi CC, Chris, Thanks for the comments and reply . I have had lots of Modern sports bikes Mille, GSXR, ZX7R and a daytona T595 to mention a few,as well as a number of Jap 2 strokes in my younger days. I am approx 100 yards from the NLM shop and along with this, My son working on them and a mate who owns one, I have been slowly drawn into buying one. I think I found the make and bike I like to ride, I also like the more modern Morinis, just getting a tad to old to be leaning over a sports like the mille I had.
I will try and get some photos on by linking to facebook.
Cheers, Ian
