Looking for 350 sport and stradas
Hi, just joined. Ive been looking at the events diary and wondered if anyone could advise me on the best show to go to to see lots of 350 sport and stradas. I live in Kent, but would travel if worth it. Ive attended shows before and been disappointed. Aahhh.
Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom
Morinis are fairly rare, so you're unlikely to find a lot in the same place at the same time. You could try the Italian automotive festival in Bristol in mid-April, or to see them in their natural habitat, come to the track day at Cadwell, which is an excellent event.
If you're thinking of buying one, a trip to North Leicester Motorcycles is well worth it.
Regards, Mark

Tom,
I should be going to Bristol aboard my 1979 3.5 Strada. Are you looking to buy one?

Hi, sorry, just read your message. I did go today. I mustve seen your bike. Only about 5 morinis there, but I guess thats par for the course. Probably like alot of people I like the double drum sport. I will buy one but have to convince the wife. I'm gonna go to Cadwell. I spoke to a Morini owner who suggested I go Sunday. Hi Tom,
You will find that most Morini's are hidden away in Sheds and Garages. You will though find a few at our track day on Friday 17th June. Last year around 25 Morini's were on track with a few more dotted around Cadwell. The rally weekend which follows the event should see a few more and you will have the chance to talk to club members. If you are coming up to Cadwell it is worth calling in to see North Leicester Motors. Stuart has number of fine examples at the moment although make it the Thursday as Stuart usually joins us for track day.
Regards
Paul

Re: Looking for 350 sport and stradas
I wouldn't go to the Weekend on Sunday, most of us travel up to the local pub on Thursday night, do Cadwell on the Friday, go back to the pub, talk and eat and drink all night, do the AGM and bike show and watch any tech demos on Saturday, talk and drink and eat the free to members BBQ in the evening, and pack up and go home Sunday morning.

Hi Tom, I'm also a relatively new member and also live in Kent, Tonbridge actually, the only local event that you might see Morinis that I know of is the Honnington Italian bike and car day at Honnington farm, Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells, thats not until 4th September 2011,Morinis do seem a bit thin on the ground, but get one, you wont be sorry, best kept secret in classic biking as far as I'm concerned. Pete.

Well, we might do a cambelt change demo if there is any interest, and it depends on if there are any other requests.Tom-1 wrote:So,Friday sounds best then, thanks.
