Exhaust Heat Shield

Here are some photos of the new NLM exhaust heat shields. They are a significant improvement on the previous tubular steel item (also pictured) which NLM supplied. Having not yet seen an original heat shield close up,I would be interested in peoples' views on whether the NLM item is a close approximation to the original, or not.

Hi similar except that the original curves rather than has angled bends.Still it wont rust away.

Here's an original one - later ones extended further down the exhaust tube. Mine's on jubilee clips so isn't sitting quite as close to the exhaust as it should.
