Old shock absorbers

A while ago I changed the (original I think) shock absorbers on my 350 for Hagons. There was nothing specifically wrong with them, hadn't failed the mot or anything. Now I'm having a tidy up and wondered if they can be reconditioned and if anyone wants them or are they only any good to the scrap man?
