Prices of 3 1/2 Sports

I was following the Ebay listing of a very nice 1975 3 1/2 Sport. Bike had a half fairing that the ad stated was original Morini kit, and it appeared to be an almost all original bike, with what appeared to be original paint, in very good condition. That being said, I was nonetheless still stunned when it hit $11,600US. At this rate, we mayl be seeing fewer and fewer of these bikes on the road, as they move into coveted collector status.....

That's either frightening or encouraging, depending on whether you've got one or not! This one did look great and I think the almost complete originality must have had a lot to do with the price it got. Less than 12,000 miles and apparently only the silencers were non-original. (EVguru posted a link to the ebay item on the RealClassic forum).
